Plymouth Mental Health Collective
Still Here, Still Working & Looking Ahead Together

Dear Collective,
We hope you’re well and staying connected — it’s been a little while since our last newsletter, and we wanted to share a quick update to let you know that we haven’t gone away! Although things have been quieter on the newsletter front, the Plymouth Mental Health Collective team are working hard behind the scenes to shape meaningful events and activities that matter to this community.
💛 What we’ve been up to
We’ve been focusing on planning, partnerships, and community-led activity that aligns with what matters most to our Collective members and partners.
You may have attended our recent collaborative Community Open Day event, in partnership with the Devon Mental Health Alliance & co-created with experts by experience from their co-production group, ‘Step Together’. It was a real pleasure to see people come together, share experiences, build connections and work collaboratively towards better mental health outcomes across the city and region. If you didn’t manage to come along then you can see a little about the event by clicking here.
📍 Venue changes & call for ideas
We wanted to share a practical update — The Devonport Guildhall, our usual event space is no longer available, and unfortunately, that means we don’t currently have a regular venue for future gatherings. This has been a challenge, but we’re actively exploring new options so we can continue bringing people together safely and comfortably. We’re committed to finding somewhere welcoming, accessible, and supportive — a space that helps our Collective continue to grow and collaborate.
If you have suggestions for venue spaces — whether community halls, charity spaces, organisational venues, or even underused meeting rooms — we’d love to hear from you!
🤝 What’s next
We’re continuing to explore opportunities for collaboration, meaningful programming, and events shaped by your feedback — so if there’s something you’d like to see, a theme or an idea you would like to showcase or present, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We’ll share details of our next event once details are finalised & aiming for sometime in Feb/March 2026.
Thank you for being part of this Collective — your support, participation and ideas help keep our Collective moving forward.
Many thanks & best wishes for the festive season,
The PMHC Team
